2022 Spokatopia Watersports Demos/Activities
Spokatopia is a great event to try different types of watercraft in the lake-like waters of the Spokane River behind Upriver Dam at Boulder Beach. The beach is a short walk east on the Centennial Trail from the main festival area at Camp Sekani Park (follow the signs). Find directions and parking info here.
Water sports demos run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, July 9 and require a $5 Spokatopia adventure pass or gold pass and signed waiver at the event. Bring a towel, paddling clothes (you might get wet!), sunscreen, and your ID. Demos are first-come-first serve and are typically limited to 15-30 minutes per demo depending on how many people are waiting to try a board or boat behind you. You can demo as many boats and boards as you like.
